Hola For Android Updated With Better User Interface

It's been awhile since this blog written in Malay. I always wanted to write articles for Drippler so I think it is time for me to step up a little bit. It is not an easy decision, but hey, this has to be done. Ignore my grammar mistakes, of course.

For those who don't know anything about Hola, it is a VPN service that is compatible with most devices including PC and Android. But what most important is, it is free. I've already wrote about this service and you can read it here (written in Malay).

Hola has step up their game when they have updated their Android VPN client. As you're reading this the client has already have a built in web browser which include a toggle for you to change the VPN location (see the picture above).

If you change the tab to 'Apps', you can see a lot of choices, from Chrome to Netflix, Pandora to Hulu and a lot of other apps labeled as 'Popular in Malaysia', or the country which you live, obviously. You can also open your own apps that you have installed in your device. If you did, a VPN connection attempt window will pop out.

If you happened to click that 'Cancel' button, Hola will request a root access in order to use the VPN connection. I don't know and I'm not sure if the connection was still intact to its VPN because as I check for the IP address, it is still my network provider's IP and didn't changed.

But overall this new features and new user interface is the invention that we have been waiting for. I would love to see Hola become a bugs free app and establish its dominant in this field. For those who want to give it a try, head to this link here : Hola - Free VPN - Secure Browsing - Unrestricted Access
